What can I expect at my initial consultation?
During your initial consultation a thorough history and examination will be obtained and relevant investigation results reviewed. Additional tests required to establish a diagnosis will be organised and an individualised treatment plan formulated. You will be provided with the information required to understand your condition, its treatment and the expected outcomes and will have the opportunity to have any questions answered.
How long does an initial consultation take?
Allow approximately 45 minutes for an initial consultation.
How long can I expect to wait?
We understand that your time is important and make every effort to run to schedule. Despite this, some consultations may require more time than anticipated and we appreciate your patience on these occasions. Where possible, administrative staff will advise if significant delays are expected.
What do I need to do before my initial consultation?
The following is recommended in preparation for your initial consultation:
Registration Form
Complete the Registration Form to register your details with the Practice prior to the day of your appointment.
Results
Ensure copies of relevant pathology and imaging reports have been forwarded to the Practice prior to the day of your appointment. These can be securely uploaded here.
Transmission of confidential medical information by email is not recommended.

Review information relevant to your condition to become an informed and active participant in your own health care.

Compile a list of questions to be addressed during your consultation.
Confirm Appointment
Confirm your appointment by replying ‘YES’ to the SMS reminder sent one week prior.
