Dr Mark Pace is a consultant endocrinologist subspecialised in the care of patients with thyroid disorders and thyroid cancer as well as the management of pituitary, parathyroid, adrenal and bone conditions and men’s health.
Dr Pace graduated with first class honours from Monash University in 2002 and subsequently completed endocrine specialist training at The Alfred and Monash Hospitals. He was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2010.
In 2011, Dr Pace undertook an 18-month clinical fellowship at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Melbourne, focusing on the treatment of patients with thyroid cancer and neuroendocrine tumours. He was accepted into the thyroid cancer fellowship program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, in 2013 where he completed a further 12 months of post-speciality training.
Dr Pace has authored peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and has presented at national and international conferences. As part of his commitment to continued professional development, he regularly attends endocrinology meetings locally and overseas. He is also actively involved in teaching and mentoring junior medical staff and students.

Dr Pace consults privately at the Melbourne Thyroid and Endocrine Centre in North Melbourne and Malvern and is accredited with Cabrini Health. In addition to his private practice, Dr Pace is a staff endocrinologist at The Alfred and Royal Melbourne Hospitals where he provides ambulatory care for patients with general endocrine conditions, thyroid disorders, thyroid cancer and other endocrine tumours. He also serves on the multidisciplinary thyroid cancer boards at each institution.
Outside medicine Dr Pace enjoys running, weight training, listening to true crime podcasts and collecting vintage furniture.
